Dwellings Among the Smoke

Capturing the perfect photograph at the perfect moment in time is what I strive to do. These photographs are what inspire my artwork. I use mixed media to apply my somewhat abstract twist to them. The layering process allows me to get the texture I am looking for and helps bring my vision to life. Using anything from old book pages to dried flowers and anything else I can get my hands on. Most times just using my hands, no brushes or tools. I like to feel attached to my artwork, sort of grounded to it. I hope to create artwork others can not only see but experience.
