Watercolor, Color Pencil
My work is a narrative view of the places I find myself. Working with a mixture of layers in watercolor and color pencil, my subject matter tends to highlight locations I pass daily. Not necessarily the destination, but a space in between that has a lingering effect for a desire to explore. I draw using shadows and color to create form and exercise burnishing techniques to create a sense of depth. My body of work is a journal to my older self.
