Drawing inspiration from my Mexican heritage, I explore the human figure through the lens of people, places, and memories from my childhood. I capture the anatomical structure of the figure through expressive marks, vibrant colors and various applications of paint in order to evoke the soul from the canvas. My works celebrate the richness of Mexican culture, focusing on the beauty found in scenes from everyday life and explores subcultures found throughout Mexico.
