I am horrified by the scope and frequency of atrocities police have either allowed, enabled, or participated in firsthand. Through serious and lighthearted storytelling and filmmaking with found footage, I explore some of the ramifications that ensued as a result of the protests and uprising following the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers. I am hopeful this tragedy will inspire society to confront the larger humanitarian crisis of racial injustice and inequality. Through my artistry, I aim to help others connect to what they may feel, but might not be able to articulate.
