Seaside Strut

I am drawn to contrasts in nature. One of these contrasts is the wild abandon of nature as creator of landscape and the need to control represented by humans. In my work this is represented by more detailed passages contrasted with looser passages that suggest rather than describe.  I like to think that my work is more than what is perceived with my eyes, but that it also reflects what is felt or sensed on other levels.
