Through the Light: Lying in Wait

In this body of work I depict the horizon and other elements of the landscape through the use of color, material, and process. The variety and shift of each of these elements throughout the body of work is used to reflect the various conditions that the landscape goes through, and how those conditions can relate to our own lives. There is a battle between control and chaos within the creation of each work, which reflects the chaos and control of decision making, and the growth we experience through these decisions we make.
